Mojo and Fox Racing Shox made quite an impact at the Stoneleigh Dirt Bike show last weekend. With a 14 x 3m stand consisting of 4 dirt bikes featuring Fox suspension packages, a mini quad and a full sized quad both also featuring Fox’s top of the range shocks, it was a draw for trade and public alike!
The ‘see through’ demo shocks on the display stand and the cut-out shocks kept people interested as did the Fox promo video showing the company background and history, featuring some brilliant footage of US truck racing, SX, outdoors, quad, snowmobile and mountain bikes too – a true ‘chassis dynamics’ company in the broadest sense of the term.
The awesome new Podium RC3 shock was the deserved star of the show, featuring the FAST adjust - ‘no hammer and punch’ preload adjuster, an innovative, adjustable bottom out control system, Hi-Lo compression adjust and a ‘factory’ style check valve on the rebound adjuster to cut wallow – well why wouldn’t it be the star! It’s been a while since a lot of the old fogies had seen Fox Racing Shox in the MX market and the ‘old guard’ of the UK dirt bike scene were all reminiscing and talking wistfully about their old Fox AirShox! Hey, we even had a whole bunch of Twin Shock racing devotees trying to convince us to start building shocks for 1970s Maico 2 strokes all over again!!!! Let’s start with the late Jap’ and Austrian four strokes for now!
