1. Each shock is booked in and immediately gets a unique job reference number. This allows us to track the shock through the system knowing what parts arrived with the unit (bushes, valve caps, etc...) and means every shock is completely identifiable at all times all the way from you all the way back to you.
 
2. A quick clean in the parts washer means we know where we stand and allows us to give the shock a thorough inspection, we'll usually try to call you at this point if there is anything untoward that wasn't mentioned in the letter you sent with the shock (you did send a letter with the shock didn't you? There have been a few Mr X's over th eyears!)...
3. Then it's on with the business of stripping the shock so that we can fix it! Air sleeve first, remove the air and remove by hand.
4. If a shock requires a full service we need to de-pressurise the shock and remove the damper assembly from the damper body.
5. A complete strip of the seal block, piston and shims, a clean and check of all the individual parts and strip of the adjuster parts to get that 'as new' smooth feeling back...
6. Time for a fresh bag of air seals...
7. ...and damper seals (oil and nitrogen)
8. If all parts are checked out as good to 're-use' then they will be re-assembled, if anything requires replacement we'll get clearance before going ahead and replacing them.
9. New Internal Floating Piston seal and we are almost ready to rumble...
10. With every part, cleaned inspected, assessed, replaced or re-used, a full, new set of seals and a splash of fresh oil, it's time to re-assemble.
11. Once everything is tightened up to Fox specs we can gas the shock with nitrogen to the specified IFP pressure.
12. Finally, fresh new air seals, a dollop of grease...
13. ...and a smear of FLOAT Fluid
14. And it's time to pop on the air sleeve, pump it up, check for static leaks, dyno test the shock for damping function and range and give it a quick de-grease...
15. That's because it's a sod to remove these decals when the shock is all greasy! You get nice new stickers when you send in your shock for a Mojo service, if you get your air shock custom valved we'll even change the tuning band to suit (shown here).
16. Time for fresh bushes, also a unique part of the 'Mojo' service. First remove the old DU bearing from the eyelet, inspect...
17. ...press in a new DU bearing at each end, puch in the reducers to suit your bike...

18. ...and hey presto, as new! Ready to get filthy again...
