As well as supporting Fox riders on the Trans Provence, Mojo boss ChrisP decided a prize for someone on the race would be great too! A prize with a difference, not to the fastest rider, not to the winner of the most stages, not to exclusively male or female – He decided that the prize should be to the ‘Good Samaritan’ of the race, the rider who helped the other broken riders or bikes the most as voted for by all the entrants.
ChrisP says:
“One of the key tenets of the Trans-Provence concept (and a key feature of almost any long distance point to point race without helicopter support!) is that every rider on the race should provide ‘mutual trail support’ to all the other riders... What this means in practice is that if you find a rider having problems, you MUST stop to look after that rider to the point where the mechanical/first aid issue is either resolved or handed over to the travelling marshalls.
