Some of you guys out there may have heard of the Trans Provence stage race in the south of France? It got some great coverage in Singletrack magazine last year when Matt Letch from the magazine slayed himself through the South of France and told his story of fun and pain in equal measures!

It’s a seven day multi-stage, point to point race where singletrack descents are timed and the singletrack climbs are not competitive (or shouldn’t be!).

It’s over 300kms in high Provencal Alps, it has a single uplift every day so the climbing total is 10,000 vertical metres and the total descent is a whopping 15,000 vertical metres!

With entries normally limited to 50 riders, this year’s running will be novel in that it has expanded to include a full-on ‘Pro’ category too! Nico Vouilloz, Fabien Barel, Tracey Moseley, Mark Beaumont, Jerome Clementz and Mark Weir are among the racers who can’t wait to see what 300+kms of Alpine singletrack inn a week feels like!

Wouldn’t this be a fantastic race to go to in order to test set-ups and suspension settings for the burgeoning enduro race market?

Well, Mojo is on it!

This year Mojo will be sponsoring this great event (check www.trans-provence.com ) and will be there for suspension support and testing purposes. As well as working with all the Fox equipped riders on the trip to maximise the potential of their product, we’ll be testing new ideas and getting feedback from some of the best Fox sponsored racers in the World! Between Mojo favourite Fabien B, his compatriate Nico V and the UK’s own Tracey M and Mark B, there are more World Cup wins and World Champs medals than you can shake a stick at!

On top of that, "old man Mojo" ChrisP himself will be doing the event testing all kinds of funky shocks, cartridges and valvings as well as trying to keep up with fellow 45 year old Steve Jones from Dirt magazine!

The "all-mountain" bike that will work at the Trans Provence is going to be a set-up that will be an all-mountain bike for any hill anywhere! There will long steady climbs, steep technical climbs, rocky descents, rooty descents, loam, dust, wet, dry, etc....

Our custom tuning program will learn from this event and you guys get a better set-up because of it!

Above Left: Come on! It wouldn’t be a ChrisP bike without the –2 degree head cups! 63 degree, 180mm travel XC bike!
Above Right: Busy handlebar with PP remote and dropper post (Come on Fox, we need that new dropper post!)
Above Left:Orange Patriot with custom length rear shock, Kashima remote RP2 with a new ‘firm+’ velocity tune, largest air volume spacer and pro+ pedal to raise the rear a tad for technical climbing...
Above Right:Don’t need QR when DH stage racing or when doing untimed liaisons...
